Just few days to go to Durga Puja and I can’t stop myself from preparing head-to-toe of my outfits. So I have planned to do a series of things which are truly associated with Durga Puja. From outfit to food, everything will be there in my blog series (Stay Tuned 😀 ).
During the 5 days of Durga Puja, we usually spend most of the time wandering around pandals to pandals wearing new clothes, shoes, jewellery to worship Devi Durga. Here I am showing you 5 best outfit ideas for Durga Puja 2018 in this post so that you can rock this puja with your outfits and stand alone.
1. Handloom Saree with Full Sleeve Blouse:
No Durga Puja completes without wearing a traditional handloom saree! Wear a handloom saree that goes well with your complexion. If you are from fair complexion family then mostly all colour works for you. But choose any monochromatic colour or lighter pastel shades if you belongs to medium to dark skin tone. Pair that with a full sleeve and an appealing neck line blouse. Wear heels with saree. It gives a nice dimension to your figure.
Anarkalis are something that could be one of the best choice if you are not a ‘saree-person’. It is easy to wear and perfect for pandal hopping. Anarkalis can of two pieces (as I wore in this outfit) or of one piece also: these are equally glamorous and stylish. Pair it with any junk jewellery. If you are having deep neck line then wear a heavy neckpiece or simply heavy ear rings works amazingly. Wear it with heels, ballerinas or flats.

3. Mid-Length Dress with Bold Jewellery & Bold Makeup:
If you are a person who loves to experiment with your outfit although you want to ethnic in those 5 days of Durga Puja. Wear a mid-length dress and go as bold as you can. Pair it with heavy junk jewellery and heels. It would be a nice fusion of every fashion-elements. This looks very pretty with oxidised silver junkies. Try to use cotton fabric as it will give you comfort while roaming around.

4. Go Boho:
Long Slitted Kurtis are too much into fashion these days and I love to style them. These are stylish, semi-ethnic and can worn in several styles. Create a Boho look with this Kurti paring with any jeggings, denims or even with palazzos as well. Here also try cotton or any other comfortable fabric because you have to wait in queues for quiet a long time to see Devi Durga. 🙂 Combine it with black heels and oxidised silver junk jewellery to get a perfect boho look.

5. Comfy Zone:
If you are a comfort-lover, no matter what occasion you have then this outfit is only for you. A easy-breezy palazzo with short Kurti would be the perfect choice for you. I have picked up this Kurti from Reliance Trends just for the asymmetric pattern. This is simple yet unique. You can even pair it up with a solid tee and booties. This also gives a nice statement. Go simple in terms of jewellery but don’t forget to wear you shades with this.
